Four Team USA Minnesota Women to Compete at USA Women's 10k Championship at Tufts Oct. 12; Results from USA 10 Mile Championships at Twin Cities; Biya Simbassa Wins TC 10k in St. Paul
Minneapolis/St. Paul - Oct. 6, 2015 - Four Team USA Minnesota women - Meghan Peyton, Megan Goethals, Katy Moen and Gina Valgoi - will compete at the USATF Women's 10k Championship on Oct. 12 in Boston. The championship is hosted by the 39th annual Tufts Health Plan 10k for Women.
Seven Team USA Minnesota Runners to Compete at Twin Cities Oct. 3-4, with Six Entered in the USA 10 Mile Championships on Oct. 4
Minneapolis/St. Paul - Sept. 29, 2015 - Seven Team USA Minnesota runners will compete in races during the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon weekend, including in the TC 10k on Oct. 3 and in the USA 10 Mile Championships hosted by the Medtronic TC 10 Mile on Oct. 4.
Team USA Minnesota Receives Special RRCA Olympic Development Grant; Parker Stinson Wins Cow Harbor 10k; Gabriele Grunewald 4th at USA 5k Championships
Minneapolis/St. Paul - Sept. 23, 2015 - Team USA Minnesota has received one of five special grants awarded to U.S. Distance Training Centers by the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) to support its efforts to develop athletes for the 2016 Olympic Trials. The grants are in the amount of $5,000 each.

Minneapolis/St. Paul - Sept. 15, 2015 - Three Team USA Minnesota runners - Gabriele Grunewald, Gina Valgoi and Jon Peterson - will compete in the USA 5k Championships in Providence on Sept. 20, while Parker Stinson will run in the Great Cow Harbor 10k in Northport, New York, on Sept. 19.
Minneapolis/St. Paul - Sept. 10, 2015 - The Pittsburgh Three Rivers Marathon has announced that it will renew its sponsorship of Team USA Minnesota, a post-collegiate distance training center focused on developing Olympians and national champions. The support of Team USA Minnesota is part of P3R's American Development Program, an initiative to increase exposure and racing opportunities for American professional runners.

Minneapolis/St. Paul - Sept. 8, 2015 - The Team USA Minnesota runners will be focused on the mile this week with athletes competing in the Hoka One One Long Island Mile on Sept. 9, the New York Road Runners 5th Avenue Mile on Sept. 13, and Grandma's Minnesota Mile in Duluth on Sept. 13.
Parker Stinson to Compete at USA 20k Championships in New Haven Sept. 7; Megan Goethals, Gina Valgoi to Run Victory 10k/5k in Minneapolis on Labor Day; Heather Kampf Wins Crim Mile in Michigan
Minneapolis/St. Paul - Sept. 1, 2015 - Team USA Minnesota's Parker Stinson will be among the deep field of American competitors at the USA 20k Championships in New Haven on Sept. 7. The race is held in conjunction with the Faxon Law New Haven Road Race and starts at 8:40 a.m. (Eastern). Also competing on Labor Day will be Megan Goethals and Gina Valgoi who will run in the Victory 10k and 5k races respectively in Minneapolis with the 10k starting at 8:00 a.m.
Minneapolis/St. Paul - Aug. 19, 2015 - Team USA Minnesota's Heather Kampf will be among the competitors in the professional women's mile at the Health Plus Crim Festival of Races in Flint, Michigan, on Aug. 21. The event, part of the Michigan Mile Race Series, starts at 7 p.m. (Eastern).
Minneapolis/St. Paul - Aug. 11, 2015 - Four up-and-coming and highly decorated collegiate distance runners have joined Team USA Minnesota, bringing the number of athletes to 11 in the long-time training group that is based in Minneapolis/St. Paul. The recent graduates include Parker Stinson from the University of Oregon, Biya Simbassa of the University of Oklahoma, Katy Moen from Iowa State University, and Megan Goethals out of the University of Washington.
Gabriele Grunewald, Meghan Peyton to Run Track Meets in Portland Aug. 8-9; Heather Kampf, Gabriele Grunewald Finish 1-2 at Liberty Mile
Minneapolis/St. Paul - Aug. 4, 2015 - Team USA Minnesota's Gabriele Grunewald and Meghan Peyton will head to Portland, Oregon, this weekend to compete in their final domestic track meets of the season. Grunewald will run the 1500 meters at the FloTrack Throwdown on Aug. 8, and Peyton will compete in the 10,000 meters at the Portland Track Festival on Aug. 9.

Minneapolis/St. Paul - July 28, 2015 - Three Team USA Minnesota runners will compete in the GNC Live Well Liberty Mile in Pittsburgh on July 31, including defending champion Gabriele Grunewald, two-time champion Heather Kampf, and Jon Peterson who has run 4:00.41 in the mile on the track.

Minneapolis/St. Paul - July 20, 2015 - Five Team USA Minnesota distance runners will be competitions this week, with Gabriele Grunewald at two track meets in Europe, Gina Valgoi and Emily Gordon running in the Life Time Fitness Torchlight 5k in Minneapolis on July 22, Jon Peterson racing at the Quad City Times Bix 7 Mile in Davenport, Iowa, on July 25, and Heather Kampf traveling to Michigan to defend her title at the Ryan Shay Mile on July 25.
