Gabriele Grunewald to Race at Prefontaine Classic May 30; Heather Kampf Wins 3rd USA 1 Mile Road Championship
Minneapolis/St. Paul - May 20, 2015 - Team USA Minnesota's Gabriele Grunewald will be among the top international competitors at the Prefontaine Classic on May 30. Grunewald will run the 5000 meters at the IAAF Diamond League meet that will be held at historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.

Minneapolis/St. Paul - May 13, 2015 - Twin Cities In Motion, organizers of the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon, the Medtronic TC 1 Mile, and a host of running events in Minneapolis and St. Paul, has renewed its partnership with Twin Cities-based Team USA Minnesota, the professional long distance running training center that has developed 22 national champions and sent dozens of athletes to international competitions, including the Olympic Games.

Minneapolis/St. Paul - May 12, 2015 - Team USA Minnesota's Heather Kampf and three teammates - Meghan Peyton, Gina Valgoi, and Jon Peterson - will be among the competitors at the USA 1 Mile Road Championships hosted by the Medtronic TC 1 Mile on May 14. On the West Coast, Gabriele Grunewald will run in the Hoka One One Middle Distance Classic in Eagle Rock, California, (near Pasadena) on May 14.
Heather Kampf, Meghan Peyton to Compete at Drake Relays April 23-24; Kampf Defends Title at Grand Blue Mile; B.A.A. Mile and Mt. SAC Results
Minneapolis/St. Paul - April 22, 2015 - Team USA Minnesota's Heather Kampf and Meghan Peyton will compete on the track at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, with Kampf running the 800 meters on April 24 and Peyton in the 5000 meters on April 23. As part of the Drake Relays week of festivities, Kampf defended her title at the Grand Blue Mile on April 21.

Minneapolis/St. Paul - April 14, 2015 - The Team USA Minnesota runners will be traveling April 17-21 to the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif., the B.A.A. Invitational Mile in Boston, and to the Grand Blue Mile in Des Moines. Jon Peterson will compete at Mt. SAC on April 17, Heather Kampf and Gabriele Grunewald will run in the B.A.A. Mile on April 18, and Kampf will defend her title at the Grand Blue Mile on April 21.
Josh Dedering to Run Cherry Blossom Ten Mile April 12; Gabriele Grunewald Wins Stanford 5000m Race April 3; Jon Peterson, Jon Grey Set PRs in 5000m
Minneapolis/St. Paul - April 6, 2015 - Team USA Minnesota's Josh Dedering will be among the competitors at the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run in Washington, D.C. on April 12. The men's elite field starts at 7:30 a.m. (Eastern) along with the first wave of participants in a field of over 14,000 runners. The run starts and finishes on the Washington Monument Grounds.
Minneapolis/St. Paul - March 31, 2015 - Three Team USA Minnesota distance runners - Gabriele Grunewald, Jon Peterson and Jon Grey - will compete in the 5000 meters at the Stanford Track & Field Invitational in California on April 3. All three athletes will be opening their outdoor track season at this meet.

Minneapolis/St. Paul - Feb. 12, 2015 - Team USA Minnesota has been selected as the 2015 recipient of Running USA's Allan Steinfeld Development Award. The distance running training center, which is based in Minneapolis/St. Paul, was presented with the $25,000 grant at the Running USA Industry Conference on Feb. 9 in New Orleans.

The open women's 8k race is at 12:15 p.m. and the open men's 12k is at 1:00 p.m. (Mountain time) and will be broadcast live at www.usatf.tv.
